“Amass,” David Erdman, clover lee, davidclovers, hong Kong 17 March 2009 | 7pm | Lichthof 2 davidclovers brings together the practices of David Erdman and Clover Lee. Together, they undertake a contemporary investigation in mass, recon sidering the role of opacity and new media in the design and production of mass. Current projects include Lunar House, a speculative home with a Corian enclosure and Light Mass, a 28unit artist livework project located in Beijing. Since its founding in 2007, davidclovers has completed several residential, commercial and exhibition projects. Their work was recently featured in I.D., A+U, Kenchiku Note, Icon Magazine and Esquire Japan. Lunar House was recently exhibited at Artists Space in New York City. The lecture, entitled “amass,” explores how the current projects of davidclovers both redefine and relate to the terms mass production and mass media.
