Lenia Mascha is an architectural designer based in Vienna, Austria. She is a member of the Studio Hani Rashid at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and works as a design architect at Berger+Parkkinen Architects.
Lenia studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, TU-Berlin and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master of Science with distinction from the Postgraduate Program Urban Strategies studio "Excessive" led by Hernan Diaz Alonso at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and an architecture diploma with excellence from Aristotle University.
Lenia has been involved in numerous collaborations within architecture and the creative disciplines in academia and practice. Her design works have been showed in group exhibitions and presented in academic institutes including the Architectural Association (AA) in London and the Institute for Advanced Architecture in Catalonia (IAAC) in Barcelona.
Lenia has been a Teaching and Research Associate at the Institute of Urban Design Prof. Peter Trummer at the University of Innsbruck and has taught in international workshops and courses focusing on digital design and architectural drawing.
Since 2015, she works as a design architect at Berger+Parkkinen architects, being responsible for the computational design and execution planning of cultural and public projects in Europe.
Since fall 2017, she is a member of the Institute of Architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna teaching at the Studio Hani Rashid.
